The Union Street Grill and Grotto is located on 5th Street, downtown Courtenay, in the heart of the Comox Valley. We have been one of the top restaurants to go to for both lunch and dinner for over 18 years! Check us out for local seafood, steaks, burgers, and pastas, with a contemporary, urban flare. The Grill and the Grotto – get a 5 star rating from me. We go to Union Street Grill and Grotto restaurant if we want to eat “good food” because they never let us down. If we want to eat local produce and drink local wine – they’ve got it. If we want seafood that’s been harvested sustainably and an atmosphere that is comfortable with friendly staff – they’ve got it.

Gluten free heaven! We stop here every time we are in town just because of the gluten free menu and kitchen. I can eat here and not have to worry about any hidden factors that will make me sick 3 hours later. They have excellent selection and great customer service!

Fabulous destination in downtown Courtenay! One of my favourite restaurants in the Comox Valley. My mouth is watering already…whether I’m ordering one of my standard menu choices or feeling adventurous, I’m guaranteed good quality fresh food. A great menu selection and they have the gluten free options nailed down.
