Union Street Picture

In the 1880's Union Street was the name of what is today

5th Street in Downtown Courtenay.

The town of Union (today's Cumberland) was named after the Union Coal Company, and the port, used to ship the Union coal was Union Bay.

The road that connected the town and the port was named, Union Street.

The Union Street Grill & Grotto represent a similar connection between its proprietors, Mark and Danielle Duncan

and what is the modern-day Comox Valley.

Their recipe is simple and effective. Provide the Comox Valley

with three essential ingredients; Good Food, Good Drinks,

and of course... Good Times.
